Founder and owner of Exner Welding & Fabrication, August Exner is a certified and skilled welder and fabricator with 7+ years of experience ranging from custom art and furniture to structural steel and aluminum work. Exner Welding & Fabrication provides a range of services including mobile welding, gates, fences, furniture, handrails and even repairs for commercial and residential properties. Exner Welding and Fabrication will take care of all of your custom welding needs from repairing or replacing your handrails or gates to beautiful bar footing or even custom metal art.

How We Got Here...

OUR STORY

August Exner was born and raised in Newnan, Georgia. He graduated from Newnan High School while also earning his Eagle Scout in Boyscouts. He continued his schooling at West Georgia Technical College and received his Welding Certificate in 2019. Since then, August has accumulated an array of skills & techniques to master his craft through working at Mike Puzio's Iron Studio and Smith Iron Works, located in Atlanta, GA.

In the past year August has started his own custom fabrication shop in Newnan, GA which he shares with Jason Everhart of Gate Masters of Atlanta. Through hard work, determination, and the love and support of his friends, family & community, August was able to start his own business, Exner Welding & Fabrication.
